Your questions about the Tesla Model S Facelift mats
How do I wash them?
Vacuum the carpet layer, then rinse the rubber base with water or go over it with a damp cloth. They dry quickly, so you can refit them straight away.
Can they cope with mud, snow and sand?
Yes. The raised edges keep wet boots, slush and grit on the mat instead of letting it reach your original carpet. For the roughest conditions, go for rubber only.
What does 5D actually mean?
A flat mat only covers the bottom of the footwell. A 5D mat is moulded to the shape of your floor and rises up the sides, so a lot more of the cabin is covered. Please note these are for the facelift only.
