History of ROVER:

It was a British company founded in 1878. Like most automakers, he started out in a completely different sector, namely making bicycles.
After the first years dedicated to the mass sale of bicycles, in 1885 the company took a turn towards the motor world.
He began building motorcycles and soon after automobiles under his Viking ship emblem, which will accompany him throughout his history.
The Land Rover range was born in 1948 and joined the Rover brand.
The first vehicle that Rover made was in 1883, it was a tricycle under the company Starley & Sutton. The company was founded in 1878 by businessman John Kemp Starley and William Sutton. Starley had previously worked with his uncle, James Starley in the manufacture of bicycles and sewing machines.
Starley rose to fame by inventing the so-called Rover safety bicycle, a vehicle with rear-wheel drive chain and wheels of equal size, thus providing a solution to the dangers posed by the old bicycle wheels of different size and front-wheel drive. It was the forerunner of the modern bicycle, a pattern that would be used from that time until today.
The company name Rover is derived from the word bicycle in Polish (rower) and in Belarusian (ровар, rovar)
In 1899, John Starley imported Peugeot motorcycles to study them so he could manufacture his own bicycles, his first project was to put an engine on one of his bicycles, unfortunately, John Starley died in early 1901.
In 1902, Rover produced its first motorcycle revolutionizing the market, using totally innovative processes and engines for the time.

In 1913 the TT model is launched, a bike with a sportier chassis, which led him to win the award for best work team.
